At Summit we're proud to be a little different. For starters, we're family owned and we believe in treating our patients like family. That means we approach your problems in a caring way. We take time to understand your concerns and to explain your treatment program. And, we teach you how to move forward, so you can get the most out of your life, after therapy.

We believe that nothing is more personal than healthcare, so we work closely with our patients to provide individualized programs in a comfortable, eco-friendly environment. We know that physical therapy requires focus and commitment to success by patient and therapist alike, so we work together one-on-one to get results.

So, if you're a patient looking for personalized therapy, or if you're a referring physician who wants a results-oriented program for your patients, why not give us a call? We know you'll like the Summit difference.

"Thanks to Paul, I am beginning to live pain-free after over twenty years."

-Barbara Bridges

"In the past fifty years I have been to a number of doctors, a rheumatologist, several different chiropractors, massage therapists, and physical therapists. I have taken nearly every pain medication available during that time. Paul Arsenault has treated me using a new therapy. From the first day, I had some relief from pain. The second treatment gave more lasting relief."

-David Lee

"Paul Arsenault is a physical therapist who has taken care of my patients in Rutherford County with excellent results. He is highly regarded in the medical community and is one of the best physical therapists."

-James Hoski, MD

Paul Arsenault, Owner and Clinical Director, received his Masters in Physical Therapy degree from Western Carolina University (NC) in 2004 and is the only recognized medical practitioner from North Carolina at the American Back Pain Center. From 2005 to 2007 he worked as an outpatient physical therapist at clinics in Hendersonville and Rutherfordton, NC. In addition, he has worked with the Pittsburg Pirates and Hickory Crawdads baseball teams in their spring training and conditioning programs.

Paul is an avid outdoorsman and, in 1998, after Paul's future wife Lisa had recovered from cancer, Paul organized the first coed mountain bike trip on the 2500-mile Great Divide Mountain Bike Trail as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

Paul and Lisa continue to enjoy the outdoors while they add their family touch to their healthcare practice, but now they share it with the next generation - their 8-year-old daughter Amelia.
